What's So Great About Our Place?
Well, quite a lot actually! For starters, we're based just 5 minutes' drive over the Tyne Bridge. Conveniently located just off the Felling Bypass (A184), we have all the benefits of being in a central location without any of the drawbacks of navigating the city centre and its car parks.
Speaking of car parks, another great feature of where we're based is that we have our own car parks on site. We have literally hundreds of available parking spaces right next to our theatre - over 700 to be more precise - and they're all absolutely FREE to use for panto customers! Take a look at the pictures below to see just how close our parking is. Just think: no queuing to get into multi-storeys, no fighting over the last space and absolutely no parking tickets to ruin your trip out!
On top of that, Car Park 1 has charging bays for electric vehicles and plenty of disabled bays nearest the main entrance to the stadium, plus opposite the car park entrance, right outside the main entrance, there is a sizeable drop off point for anyone with mobility issues.
Did we mention that the parking's FREE?!!
Ok, so once you've parked and made the ridiculously short journey from the car park to the main entrance, you'll be straight through the automatic doors into our spacious and modern foyer which, unlike our previous home, is sizeable enough to comfortably accommodate even the busiest of shows. Take a look at the picture at the top of the page and hover your mouse over the red hotspots to explore the layout of our foyer or watch the short video below.
You can see that here is where you'll find our on site box office where you can collect tickets, purchase tickets for all shows, and get information about our shows. You'll also find a snack bar serving hot and cold food, sweets, snacks and hot and cold drinks as well as a fully licensed bar. Food and drink is permitted in the auditorium and you are welcome to bring your own snacks (see here for restrictions).
The main toilet facilities are within the foyer and additional facilities are situated on the first floor, accessible by either stairs or lift and are clearly signposted. Disabled facilities are available as are unisex baby changing facilities. Please ask a member of staff if you require access to the baby changing facilities.
The entrance, foyer, box office, toilets, cafe, bar and auditorium are all fully accessible and for anyone requiring a little additional assistance in reaching their seat, we offer a complimentary escort in our lightweight wheelchair. Please just ask a member of staff.
Nursing Mums are welcome and as a family focused company, we offer a large buggy park next to the auditorium as well as free booster seats (see here for more information).
We have a merchandise stand situated in the foyer before and during performances where you can purchase flashing toys and souvenir programmes. Our merchandise stand accepts card payments as well as cash.
As soon as we announce the auditorium open, you are welcome to make your way from the foyer to take your seats. We operate an open door policy during our shows allowing patrons to leave and re-enter the auditorium whenever they want.
So now that you're all ready to be entertained, let's take a look at our auditorium. Follow us please....
